The For-Profit Postsecondary School Sector: Nimble Critters or Agile Predators? ($5). Although for-profits are able to get more students to complete certificate or associate's degree programs, their graduates earn dubious rewards: higher unemployment rates, lower earnings, and more debt compared to students who attended public or non-profit schools.
