Cola it is! Cola is more popular than coffee in the average American household. When grocery shopping during an average week, 29 percent of households buy cola and a smaller 17 percent buy coffee, according to an analysis of the
2012 Consumer Expenditure Survey. In every age group, cola buyers outnumber coffee buyers.

Is that because people drink more cola? Or is cola purchased in 12 packs--12 servings--and coffee purchased by the pound--which makes , what, 30 cups? Maybe both amounts are one week's supply ... Hmmm.
