Most Millennials Say Finances Are Improving

Thirty-six percent of Americans aged 18 or older think their financial situation is improving, according to the 2014 General Social Survey. This figure is higher than it was in 2010, when only 25 percent felt things were getting better. Older Americans are least likely to feel this way (15 percent), largely because most are on fixed incomes. Young adults are most likely to feel upbeat.
