Health Insurance by Region, 2016

Only 11.9 percent of adults aged 18 to 64 were without health insurance when interviewed by the National Health Interview Survey in January-March 2016. This is down from 20.4 percent in 2013, the year before implementation of the Affordable Care Act's health insurance exchanges.
