28% Personally Know Someone with Covid-19

Only 2 percent of Americans aged 18 or older have been diagnosed with Covid-19, according to a Pew Research Center survey fielded April 29-May 5. Fourteen percent think they've had Covid-19 but have not been diagnosed. Twenty-eight percent of the American public personally knows someone who has been diagnosed with Covid-19, and 20 percent know someone who was hospitalized or died from the virus.
